Gheddafi morto

Successivamente Gheddafi in posizione antisemita e antiamericana appoggio’ piu’ o meno apertamente vari movimenti rivoluzionari, dall’ Olp all’ Ira e a lui vengono attribuiti anche diversi gravi attentati terroristici.

Muammar Gaddafi

Muammar Gaddafi, who ruled Libya from 1969 until August this year, has been killed by forces loyal to the country's new government. The Libyan government has confirmed his death. Gaddafi 69, was reportedly found hiding in a drain outside Sirte, where he and and others had taken shelter after their convoy was hit by a Nato airstrike as it attempted to escape. A spokesman for the National Tranisitional Council – Libya's ruling body – said Gaddafi was alive when captured but died in an ambulance on the way to hospital.
• Confusion surrounds the fate of other members of Gaddafi's family and inner circle. An NTC representative said up to 17 senior members of the Gaddafi regime have been apprehended or killed. There have been reports that his sons Mutassim Gaddafi and Saif al-Islam have been killed but other reports say Mutassim has been captured alive and that al-Islam has fled.

Libya's National Transitional Council has confirmed that fighters have shot Colonel Gaddafi dead in Sirte, finally ending the tyrant's 42 year reign over Libya.

The country's former leader died as a result of wounds suffered during his capture. Several images have surfaced online of his dead body.

The news agency Reuters originally reported that Gaddafi was captured but was still breathing.
"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs ... He's been taken away by ambulance," the senior NTC military official Abdel Majid told Reuters by telephone. However this was later updated, saying that he had died of his wounds.
It is thought Gaddafi was trying to flee in a convoy that was attacked by NATO when he was captured by the NTC.
Majid told Reuters that the head of Gaddafi's armed forces Abu Bakr Younus Jabr was also killed during the capture of the Libyan ex-leader who was apparantly wearing a khaki uniform and wearing a turban.

The fall of the Gaddafi clan: Colonel Gaddafi, left, and, it is thought, his son Mutassim, centre, were both killed on the attack on Sirte today. Saif al-Islam, his heir, right, is thought to have been wounded

Majid added that NATO warplanes struck the convoy and hit four cars as it headed west and that Ahmed Ibrahim, a cousin and adviser of Gaddafi, was also captured.
A conflicting report from an NTC fighter claims that Gaddafi was found hiding in a hole in Sirte, shouting "don't shoot, don't shoot".

In the capital Tripoli, sounds of gun shots were heard and people cheered in the street: "God is Great, God is Great, Gaddafi has been captured."
Prime Minister David Cameron has issued a brief statement welcoming the news and saying he is proud of the role Britain played in allowing Libya to move towards a democratic culture.

Clues to Gaddafi's death concealed from public view

MISRATA: Libyan forces guarding Muammar Gaddafi's body in a cold storage room on Saturday let in members of the public to view the deposed leader for a second day, but the wounds that may hold the clue to how he died were covered up.
A day Libyans fought for: Gaddafi's eyes are closed and mouth firmly shut as preparations are made for his burial
Gaddafi's body lay on a mattress on the floor of the cold room, as it did on Friday when hundreds of members of the public filed in to see for themselves that the man who ruled Libya for 42 years was really dead.

But unlike the previous day, Gaddafi's body was covered by a blanket that left only his head exposed, hiding the bruises on his torso and scratch marks on his chest that had earlier been visible.

And, crucially, a Reuters reporter who viewed the body said, Gaddafi's head had been turned to the left. That meant a bullet hole that earlier could be seen on the left side of his face, just in front of his ear, could no longer be seen.
Chaotic: Gaddafi was pushed around by rebel fighters, one of whom filmed the incident on a mobile telephone
That bullet hole, and the other wounds, could help solve the riddle of whether, as Libya's new rulers said, he was shot in crossfire in a battle or, as some accounts suggest, he was killed by the fighters who caught him.

A local military commander in the city of Misrata, where the force which captured him took his body, said "over-enthusiastic" fighters took matters into their own hands when they came face to face with the man they despise.

"We wanted to keep him alive but the young guys, things went out of control," he said speaking on condition of anonymity.

Few people in Libya -- where thousands of people, including civilians, were killed by Gaddafi's forces in the seven-month rebellion -- say they are troubled by the manner of his death.

But if he was indeed killed by his captors, it will cast doubt on the promises by Libya's new rulers to respect human rights and prevent reprisals. It would also embarrass Western governments which gave their wholehearted backing to the NTC.

MISSING PIECE The dramatic minutes leading up to Gaddafi's death were chaotic, violent and gruesome -- as testified by the grainy mobile phone footage seen by the world of the former leader, bloodied and dazed, being dragged along by NTC fighters.

What is not captured in the footage, and is missing from accounts of the events given by fighters who were there, is how he died and who killed him.

Gaddafi was still alive when he was captured hiding in a storm drain outside his home town of Sirte, but he had blood streaming down the side of his face.

Government fighters hauled him onto the bonnet of a Toyota pick-up truck with the intention, one of them said, of getting him through the crowd of fellow fighters and to an ambulance parked about 500 metres (yards) away.

Gaddafi can be heard in one video saying "God forbids this" several times as slaps from the crowd rain down on his head.

"This is for Misrata, you dog," said one man slapping him. "Do you know right from wrong?" Gaddafi says. "Shut up you dog," someone replies as more blows rain down. Misrata, one of the heartlands of the anti-Gaddafi rebellion, suffered months of siege and artillery bombardment at the hands of his forces.

Another video shows Gaddafi being heaved off the bonnet of the truck and dragged towards a car, then pulled down by his hair. "Keep him alive, keep him alive!" someone shouts.

But another man in the crowd lets out a high-pitched hysterical scream. Gaddafi then goes out of view and gunshots ring out. One of the fighters present said Gaddafi was in a bad way but alive when he was put in the ambulance.

Yet the ambulance driver, Ali Jaghdoun, said Gaddafi was dead when he picked him up and he then drove the body to the city of Misrata. "I didn't try to revive him because he was already dead," Jaghdoun said.

WOUNDS STICTCHED UP In the cold store in Misrata on Saturday, the body of one of Gaddafi's sons, Mo'tassim, had been moved from another location elsewhere in Misrata and placed next to his dead father.

The circumstances leading to the death of Mo'tassim, his father's national security adviser who was also captured in Sirte, are similarly murky.

A Reuters reporter was shown a one-minute segment of mobile phone footage in which a man, who resembled Mo'tassim, was squatting in a room. He was stripped to the waist, and smoking a cigarette. He did not appear badly wounded.

Someone could be heard telling him repeatedly: "Say Allahu Akbar, say Allahu Akbar." The phrase, which means "God is greatest", is a favourite mantra of the anti-Gaddafi fighters.

At some point after that, he died. When a Reuters reporter saw his body on Thursday evening, it was laid out in a private house in Misrata. Wounds to his jaw and part of his neck were visible.

On Saturday in the cold store, Mo'tassim's body was covered up to the next with a blanket. The wounds to his jaw and neck had been stitched up.

The people queueing outside the cold store, waiting to view the bodies, did not seem concerned about how their former leader and his son died.

Fighters supervising the viewing distributed surgical masks. Two Filipino nurses filed in to take pictures. Children were among the 20 or so people waiting outside for their turn to go in.

Abdullah al-Senussi, a man with a white beard and dressed in a traditional Libyan outfit, was so frail he had to be supported by people on either side of him as he made his way to the cold store.

"We wanted to know if it was true or not," he said. "We wanted to see him."

A woman who was accompanying him, Aziza Al-Farsi, said she had been waiting for the day when she would see Muammar Gaddafi dead. "We lived for 42 years in injustice," she said.

Amber Cole incident needs attention ‎

Amber Cole’s name has become a popular one for all the wrong reasons. A videotape of the 14-year-old girl performing fellatio on a classmate outside of their high school was posted on the Internet, unfortunately leaving her open to much ridicule and judgment.
While she was a victim of cyber bullying following the video’s distribution—which is illegal, by the way, considering she’s a minor—there were many who defended Amber.
One particular teen posted a teary-eyed plea, a video that has racked up more than a million views on YouTube.
“Y’all over here talking ‘bout this girl like she did a crime or something. Y’all need to stop. Leave Amber Cole alone,” she cries. “Y’all over here making fun of a girl because she likes to do a little head work in places. There’s nothing wrong with that… I don’t understand.”
While compassion for Amber is appreciated, because no one wants to see her future ruined for her teenage error in judgment, the fact that some young girls her age don’t seem to find her behavior taboo or inappropriate is troubling.
With the rate of STDs rising, the thought of young sisters on their knees (in front of bystanders, no less) performing oral sex, is very wrong, despite what Amber’s defenders may feel.
Why would anyone deem this acceptable behavior?
While no one wants to further disparage Amber’s name, it’s worth mentioning if only to make clear that this is not what we want for our daughters.
There’s nothing wrong with sex at the appropriate age, time, place and person with whom there is hopefully shared affection, and that’s what we want for our girls.

Amber Cole Video Aftermath Shows the 14-Year-Old is “Desperate” for Attention

Amber Cole Video Aftermath Shows the 14-Year-Old is “Desperate” for Attention
Amber Cole, the 14-year-old who was infamously caught performing oral sex on a male friend (purported to be her ex boyfriend who she was trying to “win back”), is said to be really taking advantage of her new-found celebrity.
Unconfirmed reports continue to mention that Cole has been talking about her “situation” all week on  and Facebook, showing that she is milking this thing for all it’s worth.
In the days following the eruption of the scandal, Amber immediately signed up on Twitter and begged celebrities to follow her. She even showed her own face and let the whole world know exactly what she looked like.
But is she simply a young woman who is “desperate” for attention … and not in a bad way?

Dr. Phoyenx Austin, a physician, writer and media personality said this about Amber’s

Amber Cole Video Aftermath Shows the 14-Year-Old is “Desperate” for Attention
“[Amber's] actions clearly display that she is so desperate for ANY form of male validation and love that she would degrade herself to this degree. As for the boy, or boys, who are no more than parasites, I sincerely hope that they are dealt with by karma’s hand — and maybe even a male relative that decides to step up to the plate. This is not boys being boys. Their actions were cruel and sick. And you can tell everything about an individual’s soul based on how they treat someone they don’t have to treat well.”
If Amber has low self esteem, then she definitely needs help.
And the fact that this story is so huge, and not one organization for women or troubled teens have stepped up to give this girl the help that she needs, and deserves, is troubling.
So is she being ignored? We can’t help but think about the amount of energy and effort that would be put into helping Amber out if she were blond-haired and blue-eyed.
Why hasn’t anyone stepped up to the plate and at least offer the young girl some form of counseling?
Instead of trying to figure out “why” Amber did what she did, why aren’t we trying to figure out “why” no one has offered to help her in the aftermath?
Because clearly, if that really is her on Twitter, she is lost and desperately needs to be found.
Today, Amber allegedly said on Twitter that she “loves” the boy in the video.
“So what if [first boy] exposed me,” she tweeted. “It doesn’t change my feeling towards him. I love him with everything and will always be here for him.”
She continued, “I miss him … I love you both … you both will forever be in my heart. I just want these 2 boys in my life and I’m good.”
If Amber is really saying things like that on Twitter, then hopefully she is joking. And if not, we can only hope that she will be able to get some help, because if she truly feels like that, then that is scary.

What are your thoughts?
